Dataset of images with single flying objects (excluding birds) derived from the AOD 4 Dataset for Air Borne Object Detection

Abstract

A dataset of other flying objects was assembled from 538 images of single aeroplanes, helicopters and drones manually selected from the AOD 4 Dataset for Air Borne Object Detection created by Soni et al. The AOD 4 Dataset was collated from multiple sources (YouTube-8 M, Anti-UAV and a dataset by Ahmed Mohsen hosted on Roboflow) with all the 22,516 images uniformly resized to a resolution of 1024 x 1024.
