Sporophila caerulescens yungae Gyldenstolpe Sporophila caerulescens yungae Gyldenstolpe, Ark. f. Zool., Bd. 33B, no. 13, p. 3, 1941 (Chulumani, Yungas de la Paz, Bolivia). Specimens examined.— BOLIVIA: ♂, Hunay, río Mapiri, La Paz; 3 ♂, Chatarona, Beni; ♂, Susi, Beni. Measurements.— ♂ ♂ wing 58-60.5 mm., tail 45-48 mm., culmen 8.5-9 mm. Range.—Northern Bolivia in Beni,La Paz and Cochabamba. Remarks.—Gyldenstolpe says that birds from Beni differ slightly from examples of yungae from La Paz by having the extreme forehead, the lores, and the auriculars more blackish. I cannot confirm this difference as our single La Paz bird is not fully adult,while the four from Beni are.
