Welfare aziendale nelle imprese metalmeccaniche

Welfare aziendale nelle imprese metalmeccaniche

Abstract

°/° This article examines corporate welfare in contemporary Italian metalworking companies, focusing on legal aspects, industrial relations, and collective conflict management. The metalworking sector represents a privileged arena for observing the evolution of collective bargaining and negotiated welfare at both national and company levels. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach centered on labor law and integrating contributions from organizational psychology and corporate welfare studies, the paper analyzes welfare as a regulatory object and as a tool for managing industrial relations. The study argues that negotiated welfare, when anchored in collective autonomy and union dialogue, can stabilize conflict and reinforce the regulatory function of collective bargaining.
