Health Empowerment and Relative Improvement in Urological Diseases in Nineveh Governorate: An Applied Study Using Positive Statistics

Abstract

This study applies Positive Statistics to urological disease and surgery data to measure health empowerment (HEI) and relative improvement (RII) based on field data from 70 patients at the Nineveh Health Directorate – Research Hospital – Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation (Jan 1–Mar 30, 2024). SPSS was used for descriptive analysis and indicator computation. Results show HEI=25.0/100 and full reliance on endoscopic interventions reflected by RII, supporting empowerment- and improvement-oriented evaluation of health interventions.
