This dataset contains a county-level panel (2000-2020) measuring agricultural employment quality in China. It was constructed to study the effects of rural tourism development on rural labor welfare. The data is derived from the China County Statistical Yearbook, but due to copyright, this shared file includes only the processed, aggregated variables necessary to replicate the related research findings. Key variables include a composite index of agricultural employment quality, policy indicators for rural tourism demonstration counties, and standard socioeconomic controls.
