This study aimed to investigate the impact of design thinking on the constructive learning and learning competency of university students in Karachi. Using a quantitative research design, this study employed a systematic and structured approach to collect measurable data and applied statistical, mathematical, or computational techniques for analysis. A descriptive research strategy was adopted following the survey design. The findings of the study, supported by the reviewed literature, revealed a significant impact of the Design Thinking teaching approach on the constructive learning and learning competency of university students in Karachi. The study recommends the awareness sessions for pre-service teachers for the integration of design thinking in their teaching methods. Institutes offering educational programs should organize workshops and training sessions to foster a growth mindset in future teachers for integrating design thinking into their teaching methods. Furthermore, teachers should use project-based learning in their classrooms to engage their students in real-world projects that require design thinking.
