Enseñar con perspectiva de género

Abstract

La perspectiva de género hace más inclusiva la educación, favoreciendo una respuesta educativa más adecuada y completa. Enseñar con perspectiva de género supone considerar el género como una fuente de desigualdad y exclusión social, asumir una mirada interseccional que implique atender a la combinación de múltiples ejes de desigualdad y prestar atención al lenguaje y comportamiento en el aula y a los materiales que usamos para romper estereotipos. Sin embargo, a pesar del abundante marco normativo y las abrumadoras evidencias científicas, la inclusión de la perspectiva de género en la enseñanza continúa siendo un reto pendiente. La persistencia de climas fríos en los contextos educativos y la escasa o nula formación del profesorado en esta materia parecen ser obstáculos significativos para su aplicación. En este texto presentamos algunas evidencias y argumentos que apoyan su inclusión, más allá de la legislación vigente, y explicamos en qué consiste y sus implicaciones prácticas.
