Abstract

This dataset contains raw spatial point records of African elephants (Loxodonta africana) and baobab trees (Adansonia digitata) collected within the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve, Zimbabwe. Elephant locations were derived from GPS collar data and ranger patrol observations, while baobab records represent field-mapped tree locations. The data are intended for use in species distribution modelling, spatial ecology, and analyses of elephant–baobab interactions in savanna ecosystems.
