
This study, part of the Genetic Intelligence Project (GIP), examines the genetic architecture of superior intelligence within a control group of 200 gifted individuals, from which 35 volunteers were selected for in-depth analysis. The selection of this subgroup was based on the reliability of phenotypic data, including documented life histories, clinical interviews, and consistent Wechsler Scale (WAIS-III) results, which mirror the data of the entire control group. The methodology employed whole-genome sequencing and imputation, processed through the PGS Catalog and Open GWAS. To ensure strict scientific validation based on international studies, GIP "sentinel gene" results were bypassed in this specific analysis. The findings reveal that profound giftedness and neurodivergent profiles operate through epistatic mechanisms, where "islands of excellence" in memory and executive function compensate for modest global performance bases.
