The first author (AMM) is currently reviewing the distribution of this species, and there is no evidence of its presence in Panama. References. The following selected references cover the currently known distribution of E. heros; it does not correspond to all the literature including the species. Fabricius (1798); Rolston (1974); Link (1979); Grazia & Schwertner (2011); Silva et al. (2018); Soares et al. (2018); Hickmann et al. (2021); Brugnera et al. (2023); Dellapé et al. (2025); Roell et al. (2025).
