General description Electron fluxes observed by SOHO / EPHIN in 15 energy channels ranging from approximately 300 keV to 1 MeV. Note: This data product should be used only for SEP event studies, as the provided flux values may exhibt large offsets during quiet-time background conditions. Each ZIP archive contains one file per day for a given year. The flux data have a cadence of 8 minutes prior to March 2023 and 1 minute thereafter. More information on the data product can be found in https://doi.org/10.1051/0004-6361/202557974. Description of the file headers date: Timestamp in "yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM:SS" year: Year doy: Day of year msod: Millisecond of day E0 - E14: Differential electron flux in (MeV cm^2 sr s)^(-1) E0_err_syst - E14_err_syst: Systematical uncertainty of the electron flux in (MeV cm^2 sr s)^(-1) E0_err_stat - E14_err_stat: Statistical uncertainty of the electron flux in (MeV cm^2 sr s)^(-1) Bin4 - Bin31: Raw histogram count rate in given bin. Bin4 - Bin18 corresponds to the E0 - E14 flux channels. ring_off: Flag indicating whether the automatic geometric factor reduction was activated. 0 denotes nominal operation, while 1 indicates a reduced geometric factor due to deactivation of the outer ring segments of the first two detectors. scale_factor: Scale factor for correcting Bin4 to Bin31 count rates for dead time effects. The count rates should by multiplied by this factor. contam: Indicator of potential ion contamination in the electron channels. The value denotes the highest channel that remains unaffected by ion contamination.
