This document presents CYBERSTAND.eu’s strategy and early results in engaging SMEs in cybersecurity standardisation activities related to the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). It explains how the project is raising awareness, building knowledge, and enabling SME participation in standardisation so that future harmonised standards reflect SME constraints and support CRA compliance. Interim findings show successful SME expert involvement via financial support procedures, but also highlight knowledge gaps in product security, documentation, and reporting identified through public consultation. The next phase will focus on capacity building, additional consultations, and the development of targeted SME resources, training materials, and guidelines.
