Analysis of the level and robustness of various government climate pledges, both 2030 NDCs and net zero goals, required for running iterations of the UNEP emissions gap reports. This repository contains the data required to run https://github.com/Rlamboll/Emissions_Gap version tag v25.v1a and v25v2a, and the output of these processes. v25v2a is a minor update of the data to involve additional NDCs revealed during COP30 and does not contain a full run of the data for computational efficiency, hence data for 25.v1a is included here too. Files "Analysis_update_ImplementationProgress_EGR2024_hand.xlsx", and files starting "Dataforextensions" should be put in an input folder, along with the generally required files for running this codebase, described in the README there. The output of running the code series (both versions) is the other set of files available here.
