This is a release of a project in a GitHub repo: https://github.com/PubInv/moonrat This is our initial public release. This hardware and software release is imminently usable, but has not been tested. We encourage anyone of interest to attempt to build a Moonrat. The purpose of the Moonrat is to be a convenient and rugged portable, battery powered incubator. For example, it can easily incubate 3M Petrifilms for detecting E. coli, or other media used to detect E. coli, as a means of evaluating the potability of water, or the ease by which water can be made potable.
