Educación financiera y sus efectos en la autonomía de las mujeres rurales: Contexto latinoamericano actual

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza la relación entre la educación financiera y los efectos que esta genera en la autonomía económica de las mujeres rurales en América Latina. A partir de una revisión sistemática de literatura y del análisis de diversas iniciativas regionales, se evidencian las brechas persistentes en inclusión financiera, educación económica y acceso a recursos productivos que afectan a las mujeres en contextos rurales. Asimismo, se examinan programas destacados en países como Colombia, México, Perú y Uruguay, que han contribuido a fortalecer las capacidades económicas de las mujeres mediante la educación financiera, las microfinanzas y las tecnologías inclusivas. Los resultados permiten identificar que la educación financiera constituye una herramienta clave para el empoderamiento femenino, el desarrollo comunitario y la reducción de desigualdades estructurales. Finalmente, se plantean recomendaciones de política pública orientadas a la inclusión sostenible, la equidad de género y el fortalecimiento de la autonomía económica en zonas rurales.
