Evaluación de la producción de reguladores vegetales por Bacillus paralicheniformis

Abstract

Bacillus paralicheniformis es una bacteria del género Bacillus con creciente relevancia en la biotecnología agrícola por su capacidad de producir compuestos bioactivos, ofreciendo una alternativa ecológica a los pesticidas convencionales. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar su potencial como promotora del crecimiento vegetal en cultivos nativos del norte de Tamaulipas, así como su impacto ambiental. Se utilizó una muestra de suelo del inventario del Laboratorio de Biotecnología Experimental del Centro de Biotecnología Genómica (IPN), y el aislamiento microbiano se realizó en medio rojo Congo. Las colonias obtenidas mostraron morfología rugosa, coloración absorbente y textura dura, características del género Bacillus. La identificación molecular mediante amplificación del gen ARNr 16S con iniciadores universales 27F y 1492R reveló una secuencia de 1085 pb correspondiente a Bacillus paralicheniformis. Posteriormente, se detectó por HPLC la síntesis de ácido indol acético y ácido antranílico, ambos reguladores vegetales clave. Estos resultados confirman el potencial de B. paralicheniformis como biofertilizante, al estimular el crecimiento vegetal y reducir la dependencia de insumos químicos. Su aplicación representa una estrategia innovadora para avanzar hacia una agricultura más sostenible, eficiente y respetuosa con los ecosistemas locales.
