R code and data to reproduce some of the figures for "On the compound effect of humidity and temperature on mortality in the Eastern Mediterranean". The meteorological data supporting this work are publicly available through the CERRA Copernicus platform. The CERRA temperature data collection can be accessed at https://climate.copernicus.eu/copernicus-regional-reanalysis-europe-cerra. Due to the confidentiality of health data, the dataset provided includes predictions of mortality counts generated from our Generalized Additive Model (GAM). These counts are slightly different from the original data as they are predictions to maintain privacy. Therefore, any attempts to reproduce our results will yield slightly different outcomes and plots. This version includes the scripts referring to the DLNM models for the warm period, for the synergistic effect of temperature and water vapour pressure on mortality.
