Importancia de la Ética en la enseñanza dentro de las universidades

Abstract

La ética en la enseñanza universitaria es fundamental para la formación integral de las y los estudiantes, el respeto a la profesión docente y la construcción de comunidades académicas justas. Este artículo reflexiona sobre la importancia de aplicar principios éticos en el proceso educativo, analizando tanto prácticas negativas que deben evitarse como ejemplos de compromiso y responsabilidad académica. Además, se presentan recomendaciones para fomentar una cultura ética entre el profesorado universitario, fortaleciendo el vínculo de confianza entre docentes, estudiantes e instituciones. Palabras clave: Docencia, Ética profesional, Integridad académica, Responsabilidad docente, Educación superior Abstract Ethics in university teaching is essential for the comprehensive education of students, the respect for the teaching profession, and the creation of fair academic communities. This article reflects on the importance of applying ethical principles in the educational process, analyzing both negative practices that must be avoided and examples of academic commitment and responsibility. It also provides recommendations to foster an ethical culture among university professors, strengthening the trust between teachers, students, and institutions.
