Le mythe du changement et la réalité du pouvoir : entre quête de reconnaissance existentielle et structures de domination à Madagascar

Abstract

Le mouvement lancé par la Génération Z à Madagascar depuis le 25 septembre 2025 dépasse de simples revendications socio-économiques : il incarne une quête existentielle de reconnaissance dans un monde où les citoyens se sentent rendus invisibles. S’appuyant sur les cadres théoriques de Honneth, Heidegger, Camus, Arendt, Foucault, Bourdieu et Mbembe, cet article interprète ce soulèvement comme une « révolte métaphysique » enracinée dans une matrice historique remontant à 1972. À travers une méthodologie triangulée — analyse conceptuelle, comparaison historique et enquête de terrain empirique — l’étude montre que les revendications concrètes (eau, électricité, décentralisation) sont les symptômes d’une crise plus profonde : l’effondrement des trois sphères de la reconnaissance (affective, juridique et sociale) et l’érosion du lien éthique entre gouvernants et gouvernés. L’article examine en outre la manière dont les structures postcoloniales de domination — mécanismes disciplinaires, légitimité symbolique et clientélisme — neutralisent les dynamiques émancipatrices, tout en définissant les conditions d’un changement authentique : une vigilance civique durable, une stratégie institutionnelle et une refondation morale du lien social.
