
This work is embedded at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Fusion/Fission. It demonstrates the potential for utilizing modern machine-learning approaches as e.g. neurosymbolic AI combined with a technology tree for strategic decision-making in the energy sector. This contribution describes the system's architecture and illustrates how an open-source approach will lead to significant advancements in R&D by bringing the energy community together to contribute via knowledge and software development.
