Abstract:This project focuses on the design and implementation of a timer-based control system for automatic motor ON and OFF operations. In modern industrial environments, automation is essential to reduce human effort, enhance precision, and improve operational efficiency. The proposed system utilizes a timer circuit based on IC 555 to control motor switching operations at predefined time intervals. The design enables repeated operations, making it suitable for applications such as bottling plants, conveyor systems, irrigation systems, and other small-scale industrial processes. The system is cost-effective, reliable, and easy to implement, with minimal maintenance requirements. Additionally, the project integrates safety mechanisms using relays, transistor switching circuits, and protection components to ensure stable and secure operation. The study demonstrates that timer-based automation significantly enhances productivity while reducing operational errors and energy consumption.
