
Inclusive education requires the creation of equitable learning environments in which student diversity is valued, supported, and integrated through adaptive pedagogical practices. Within this context, school mediation emerges as a strategic instrument for preventing and resolving conflicts, offering a restorative mechanism grounded in dialogue, cooperation, and shared responsibility. This article examines the role of mediation in reducing school tensions, promoting nonviolent communication, and enhancing students’ socio-emotional skills. The analysis highlights that mediation contributes to a safer, more empathetic, and inclusive educational climate by facilitating the active participation of all educational actors and mitigating conflictual behaviors. By integrating mediation as a strategic direction, schools strengthen their culture of inclusion and improve their capacity to respond effectively to the diverse needs of learners.
