Callimus angulatus is a thermophilous, Mediterranean longhorn beetle, that has recently been recorded more frequently in Central Europe. In Poland it was previously known only from historical records near Cieszyn and from Muszkowicki Las Bukowy in Lower Silesia, with no confirmed occurrence for over 60 years. We report its rediscovery in south-western Poland, in Arboretum Wojsławice, where one adult was found in January 2025 under the bark of downed oak branches, and nine additional adults emerged in April 2025 from experimentally collected Quercus robur branches.
