ABSTRACT India's complex legal framework, ordinary people are often unable to understand the laws that apply to common issues such as employment disputes, consumer complaints, or tenancy conflicts, mainly due to legal intricacy, consultation cost and difficulty in reaching lawyers. Although there are digital legal platforms, the majority still relay on connecting people with lawyers rather than on giving straightforward, simplified legal advice. The present paper gives LawBlox which is a smartphone based intelligent legal guidance tool aimed at helping users through its automated and user-friendly approach in the identification of the nature of their legal problems and the understanding of the relevant laws. LawBlox, unlike conventional legal service platforms, highlights clear language explanations and primary guidance without the immediate involvement of a professional. The system applies rule-based reasoning and keyword-detection techniques to categorize user queries into the relevant legal areas and to obtain information on applicable acts, remedies, and authorities. The application is built on an Android-based user interface, Spring Boot server, and a mixed database architecture for user and legal data processing. The developers have planned to add semantic search, chatbot-assisted support, and voice queries in the future which will not only further the accessibility but also enhance the user engagement making the platform a large-scale and effective solution for improving legal literacy among the masses.
