Abstract

Introdução: A ginecomastia é a proliferação benigna do tecido glandular mamário masculino, com impacto significativo na qualidade de vida. Apesar da elevada prevalência, persiste grande variabilidade nas indicações cirúrgicas e na seleção de técnicas operatórias, especialmente em hospitais de ensino e no SUS.Objetivo: Revisar criticamente a literatura sobre critérios de elegibilidade e técnicas cirúrgicas aplicáveis ao tratamento da ginecomastia em adultos, com foco na definição de um protocolo clínico padronizado.Métodos: Revisão integrativa conduzida nas bases PubMed/MEDLINE, SciELO e LILACS (2010–2025), seguindo a estratégia PICO e checklist PRISMA 2020.
