
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategipengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di PT FreeportIndonesia (PTFI) yang menyeimbangkan kebutuhan industripertambangan dengan kesejahteraan karyawan, khususnya OrangAsli Papua (OAP). Kajian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptifmelalui studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder dari laporanperusahaan, jurnal, dan artikel terkait program CSR PTFI. Hasilmenunjukkan PTFI telah melatih lebih dari 300 pemuda Papuasejak 2017 melalui Institut Pertambangan Nemangkawi (IPN) danprogram Papuan Sustainable Human Capital Development (PSHCD),dengan pengurangan insiden keselamatan 40% serta turnoversukarela 2,2%. Strategi meliputi pelatihan teknis tiga pilar,pengembangan kepemimpinan, dan kesejahteraan OAP melaluikompensasi kompetitif serta inklusi budaya. Temuan inimembuktikan sinergi antara tuntutan operasi underground miningdan pemberdayaan lokal memperkuat lisensi sosial PTFI di Papua.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan SDM, Industri pertambangan,Kesejahteraan Karyawan
