OBUKA I EDUKACIJA ZAPOSLENIH ZA SPROVOĐENJE EKOLOŠKIH POSLOVNIH PRAKSI

Abstract

Abstract: Sustainable business has become an increasingly important requirement for modern organizations that seek to balance economic goals with the preservation of natural resources and social responsibility. In this context, employee training and education play a crucial role, as they enable the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that encourage the application of environmentally responsible practices in everyday work. This paper analyzes the importance of training and education of employees for maintaining environmental business practices, with a special focus on green training as part of the Green HRM concept. Through a review of relevant studies, the paper highlights how training influences employee behavior, motivation, and willingness to adopt sustainable habits, as well as its contribution to strengthening organizational competitiveness and image. The results show that green training is most effective when it is aligned with broader organizational goals and culture, as it then transcends traditional professional development and becomes a strategic instrument for long-term growth and environmental protection. Keywords: employee training, employee education, green training, Green HRM, sustainable business practice, organizational culture

Apstrakt: Održivo poslovanje postaje sve važniji zahtev savremenih organizacija, koje nastoje da usklade ekonomske ciljeve sa očuvanjem prirodnih resursa i društvenom odgovornošću. U tom kontekstu, obuka i edukacija zaposlenih imaju presudnu ulogu, jer omogućavaju razvoj znanja, veština i stavova koji podstiču primenu ekološki odgovornih praksi u svakodnevnom radu.
