Ermenetica. Humanistic Knowledge as an Exercise in Responsibility

Abstract

The book shows how humanistic disciplines, strengthened by decades of methodological rigor, can no longer limit themselves to reconstructing sources but must once again claim their own voice and interpretive responsibility. Against an academic model that has often preferred impersonal neutrality, Ermenetica asserts that every act of reading is born from an encounter: between sources, scholars, and communities. In an ecosystem marked by the end of traditional gatekeeping, the book proposes a new alliance between rigor, subjectivity, and public engagement. It is an invitation to restore humanistic knowledge as a living, transparent, and civic practice. Ermenetica presents itself as an open manifesto. On this page, you can download the latest PDF version or read and comment on the working document I continue to develop and reflect upon.
