Retos históricos de la movilidad urbana: hacia la construcción de ciudades sostenibles e inclusivas

Abstract

La movilidad urbana en América Latina va más allá de los aspectos meramente técnicos para integrarse a las tensiones históricas por la modernización y la búsqueda de la justicia social. En virtud de lo anterior, el objetivo de la investigación se centró en analizar exegéticamente mediante la criticidad la concurrencia entre la ingeniería civil como perfil profesional responsable y la movilidad urbana para la construcción de sistemas de desplazamiento y transporte sostenible. Por tanto, la investigación empleó un enfoque metodológico documental con valoración hermenéutica de enfoque crítico que permita el análisis e interpretación de fuentes especializadas. Entre los principales resultados se destaca cómo la movilidad urbana y la segregación espacial, dieron lugar a cambios paradigmáticos, donde las políticas públicas priorizaron la inclusividad y la equidad social, sin perder de vista las brechas de trasfondo. Por ello, el perfil del egresado en ingeniería civil debe reconfigurarse hacia la búsqueda de aprendizajes disruptivos. Se concluyó que la movilidad sostenible es un campo de lucha y de tensiones históricas, que procura la descentralización del poder, el empoderamiento comunitario y la resiliencia histórica.
