Abstract

This record contains the public Verification Pack for the Berchie Behaviour Ensemble (BBE) simulation campaign RUN001, covering SIM01–SIM23. Purpose- Provide only what is required for third parties to verify the reported simulation outputs (without providing source code).- Enable integrity checking via SHA-256 manifests and per-simulation file inventories. What is included (high level)- Simulation specifications (non-code): YAML specs and run configuration JSON.- Per-run outputs and aggregate results: metrics tables (CSV), summaries (JSON), index time-series (CSV), and figures (PNG).- Integrity artifacts: pack-level and per-simulation SHA-256 manifests. What is excluded- Source code and implementation details.- Internal debug logs and reverse-engineering-sensitive artifacts. Pack structure- VERIFICATION_PACK/00_README/ : verification README- VERIFICATION_PACK/01_SPECS/ : experiment matrices, metric definitions, run registry- VERIFICATION_PACK/02_MANIFESTS/ : pack-level inventory and SHA-256 checksums- VERIFICATION_PACK/03_SIMULATIONS/ : SIM01–SIM23 outputs (each with config, aggregate, figures, manifest)- VERIFICATION_PACK/05_PUBLIC_METADATA/ : citation metadata How to verify integrity1) Download and unzip the archive.2) Use the pack-level manifest: VERIFICATION_PACK/02_MANIFESTS/sha256sums_pack.txt and/or per-simulation manifests: VERIFICATION_PACK/03_SIMULATIONS//manifest/sha256sums.txt3) Recompute SHA-256 checksums and compare. Notes- This pack is designed for verification of results and reporting consistency. It is not a full reproduction package because implementation code is intentionally excluded.
