Abstract

This is the March 2018 issue of the International Commission on Physics Education (ICPE) newsletter. It introduces the new C14 Commission team for 2018–2020 and outlines plans to map global physics education practices. The issue features profiles of new members, articles on regional centers for physics teacher training in the Czech Republic and inclusive physics teaching for visually impaired students in Brazil. It includes a report on the GIREP-ICPE-EPEC 2017 conference in Dublin, details of the upcoming ICPE-SAIP-WITS 2018 conference in South Africa, and an interview with Marco Antonio Moreira, recipient of the 2017 ICPE Medal, emphasizing translational research and active learning.
