This dataset contains local extreme water levels derived from the updated Global Coastal RFA. It represents extreme water levels across multiple return periods at approximately 1 km resolution along the global coastline (excluding Antarctica). The data combines contributions from tides, storm surge, waves, and regional mean sea level. Vertical reference is EGM08. Return levels represent present-day conditions, based on a 19-year period centred on 2011. Further methodological details are provided in the accompanying manuscript.
