DIAGNÓSTICO DIFERENCIAL ENTRE TRANSTORNO DISMÓRFICO CORPORAL E BULIMIA NERVOSA: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Abstract

 O presente estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão sistemática sobre o diagnóstico diferencial entre Transtorno Dismórfico Corporal (TDC) e Bulimia Nervosa (BN), considerando a sobreposição de sintomas relacionados à insatisfação corporal e comportamentos compensatórios presentes em ambos os transtornos. A metodologia consistiu em busca sistemática nas bases de dados PubMed, PsycINFO e SciELO, utilizando descritores específicos e critérios de inclusão e exclusão pré-estabelecidos. Foram analisados 32 estudos publicados entre 2010 e 2024 que abordavam características diagnósticas, comorbidades e instrumentos de avaliação. Os resultados demonstraram que, embora ambos os transtornos compartilhem preocupações com a aparência física, o TDC caracteriza-se por preocupações com defeitos específicos percebidos, enquanto a BN foca no peso e forma corporal global. A discussão evidenciou que a diferenciação diagnóstica precisa considerar o foco das preocupações, a natureza dos comportamentos compensatórios e a presença de episódios de compulsão alimentar. Conclui-se que o diagnóstico diferencial adequado é essencial para o planejamento terapêutico eficaz, sendo necessária avaliação clínica minuciosa e utilização de instrumentos padronizados para distinção entre os transtornos.
