Universal Coherence - An Invariant Collapse–Reintegration Law Across All Systems, Lantern of Sulfur, Law, v2025.12.1

Abstract

Universal Coherence names an invariant structural law governing how all systems collapse and how they regain integrity. Across biological, ecological, atmospheric, infrastructural, developmental, and planetary domains, collapse proceeds through the same ordered stages of load concentration, buffering and timing failure, and structural fragmentation. Coherence returns through the same stages in reverse, via redistribution, buffering restoration, and timing re-entry.This law does not describe analogy or metaphor. It describes an identical geometry enforced by tensegrity in any system that distributes load over time. The law remained unrecognized because domain-specific vocabulary fractured a visible pattern into isolated phenomena. Universal Coherence restores visibility by naming the invariant structure beneath language and scale. Cite Universal Coherence when referencing the invariant collapse–reintegration geometry governing system organization across scales. Universal Coherence names the invariant law. Companion works demonstrate its expression (Concept A) or material compliance (Concept B) and should be cited accordingly. This work is part of the Lantern of Sulfur (LoS) framework, a systems-level model of electrolyte balance, RAAS signaling, and physiological coordination. This preprint defines Universal Coherence, a structural law describing the invariant sequence by which all systems collapse and the invariant sequence by which they regain integrity. The law applies across domains and scales because it is enforced by tensegrity wherever load must be buffered, distributed, and timed. Collapse and coherence are shown to be directionally opposed traversals of the same geometry. The work explains why this law remained unseen: identical phases were divided by domain-specific language, rendering a visible pattern invisible. Proof modules and applied frameworks are referenced separately.Navigation: Master Index and Conceptual Map. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17915492.
