
The cosmological constant problem remains one of the deepest paradoxes in modern physics: quantum field theory predicts a vacuum energy density (~10^120) times larger than the value inferred from cosmological observations. This hierarchy mismatch, together with debates over anthropic reasoning and dynamical dark energy, highlights persistent inconsistencies across scales and observer frames. This paper applies the Universal Principle of Collapse (UPC) as a cross‑scale audit axiom, linking quantum, relativistic, and cosmological domains through recognition and collapse. UPC dissolves the paradox not by introducing new physics but by exposing linguistic and conceptual inconsistencies: the assumption of a static vacuum energy, the neglect of observer‑dependent recognition in cosmological inference, and the concealment of recognition as a relational construct. By enforcing recognition consistency across scales, UPC reframes dark energy as a context-dependent entity rather than a paradoxical constant, continuing the dissolution of foundational contradictions established in prior UPC work (Escagedo Gutierrez, 2025a–d).
