Distribution by States in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Bahia. Species from the Northeast Region of Brazil. Dilatitibialis carolinae (Crotch, 1874); Dilatitibialis fuscomaculata (Mulsant, 1850); Dilatitibialis laterinotata (Brèthes, 1925) [new record] (Fig. 3). Material examined. Dilatitibialis laterinotata: “ SALVADOR – BA [Bahia]/ Bra 19.III.1961 / H. e A. Cordeiro ” [partially handwritten white label] “ Dilatitibialis / laterinotata / (Brèthes, 1925)/ J. Duarte-de-Mélo det. 2023” “ ♂ ” [white label] 1 ex. [DZUP 189957]. Comments. Dilatitibialis has 37 species in Brazil, with D. laterinotata being the third species recorded for NE Brazil (Canepari et al. 2013).
