Abstract

FIGURE 1. Bayesian inference tree reconstructed using cyt b (1095 bp), with percent probabilities indicated for major nodes. Recovered clades for Naja kaouthia (CN = China, MM = Myanmar, S. TH 2 = southern Thailand 2, N. TH = northern Thailand, VN= Vietnam, S. TH 1 = southern Thailand 1) and Naja fuxi are plotted, with points approximated for individuals that precise collection data could not be obtained for. Outgroup taxa included in analysis (Naja atra and Naja naja) are not plotted on the map, and N. naja has been removed from the tree to improve clarity. Scale bar = 0.002 substitutions/site.
