Joaquín Tadeo de Murguía was a renowned organist and composer, widely regarded as one of the most important musicians in Spain during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Today, we are publishing one of his previously unpublished works: Concierto de órgano obligado con violines, viola, fagot y trompas, año de 1790. The piece was found incomplete in the archives of Málaga Cathedral, where Murguía was chapel master. Musicologist and musician Antonio Tomás del Pino Romero has edited and reconstructed some parts of it with the aim of preserving and disseminating the work.
