This table provides an overview of protest events that occurred at or near European airports between 2019 and 2024. These acts of dissent were motivated by the complex environmental and social impacts of airports—particularly in the context of the climate crisis, but also including issues such as aircraft noise and the preservation of green spaces. The data have been collected from media reports, websites and social media accounts of campaigning collectives, interviews and correspondence with activists, as well as police reports and legal documents. A total of 135 protest events have been documented in countries such as Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Albania, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and the United Kingdom.
