Report: Inaugural South African Research Software Symposium 2025

Abstract

The first South African Research Software Symposium was held on 4 November 2025 at the University of Cape Town under the theme Research Workflows, Code & Software Critical Pillars of the South African Digital & Open Research Infrastructure. The report was developed for UCT eResearch and provides insights into the event programme, participants, and outcomes.
