This study addresses solid waste pollution on Itaquitanduva Beach, located in Xixová-Japuí State Park, in São Vicente, São Paulo. The study aims to conduct a detailed diagnosis of the waste collected between September 2021 and July 2025, quantifying and characterizing the types of waste present on the beach. The methodology is based on the systematic collection, sorting, and analysis of waste collected by volunteers, surfers, and students, following standardized marine debris monitoring guidelines. The results demonstrate the amount of plastic and other waste found during the operations. Twenty-five operations were carried out, and 1,271.36 kg of waste were collected. This highlights the need for frequent and regular monitoring.
