Copiula minor Menzies & Tyler 1977

Authors: Shea, Glenn M.; Kraus, Fred;

Copiula minor Menzies & Tyler 1977

Abstract

Copiula minor Menzies & Tyler 1977: 441. Holotype: UPNG 5435, near Oiadamawa'a Peak, 1600m, Goodenough Island, Milne Bay Province, PNG (J.I. Menzies, 29.xii.1975). Paratype: UPNG 5437, data as for holotype. Remarks: Type series consists of two specimens; paratype now SAMA R15245 (Tyler 1990). UPNG 5436, 5438 are identified in the register as paratypes but were not mentioned in the description, which only referred to two specimens. The type locality is a misspelling for Oya Madawa (Kraus & Allison 2004c). Holotype is faded and somewhat soft, in fair condition.
