Abstract

This release adresses the following issues: #25 #29 #32 #33 #34 Thank you to @TuroAero and @swayli94 for opening the issues, and to @callaway-nathan-robbins for contributing to composipy. The most notable modifications are: The new calculate_strain() method that now starts from the bottom to the top. Additionally, z position was added to the DataFrame. The new boundary-condition definition scheme for plates constraints = { 'x0' : 'pinned', 'xa' : 'pinned', 'y0' : 'free', 'yb' : 'pinned' } Edges among 'x0', 'xa', 'y0', 'yb' can be 'clamped', 'pinned' or 'free'.
