Abstract: This paper reports an important winter vagrant record of Cetti’s Warbler (Cettia cetti cetti) from the north-western range of Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, Gujarat, India. The species was observed and photographed on 10 February 2019 at Sharad Wetland, marking the first confirmed record from Gujarat and Western India. Detailed field characteristics, supported by established literature, confirmed the identification. This observation extends the known winter distribution of the species, suggesting that prior occurrences may have been overlooked due to identification challenges and the dense Prosopis juliflora vegetation dominating the region.
