Abstract

ABSTRACT In this study, it is aimed to determine the attitudes of teachers towards school management in terms of some variables. In the study, the survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used to determine the attitudes of the participants towards school administration. The universe of the research consists of teachers working in Bursa in the 2021-2022 academic year, and the sample consists of 238 teachers who voluntarily participated in the research. The sample of the study was determined by convenient sampling method. As the data collection tools, the Attitude Scale Towards School Leadership (GATS) developed by Türkmen (2012) was used. In the process of analyzing the data obtained in the research, skewness, kurtosis, frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests were used. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that the level of teachers' attitudes towards school management is in the range of "Agree at Moderate Level". According to the findings obtained from the research, it was seen that the attitudes of teachers who are male and working in pre-school and primary school are higher towards school administration. Unlike these results, no significant difference was found according to the variable of tenure in the profession. Keywords: School administration, Attitude, Teacher.
