Bilgiden Bilgeliğe: Eğitimin Ontolojik Temelleri Üzerine Felsefi Bir İnceleme

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the ontological foundations of knowledge to understand the process from information to wisdom. It delves into the nature of knowledge, ways of access, and the placement of wisdom within the ontology of human existence. Emphasis is placed on distinguishing between knowledge and wisdom, analyzing their ontological differences, and considering how educational processes shape these concepts. The research posits that understanding the ontological distinctions between knowledge and wisdom can strengthen the core of educational philosophy and render teaching processes more meaningful. The significance of philosophical approaches in education from an ontological perspective is highlighted, underscoring the need for a deeper reflection on the nature of being and knowing in pedagogical contexts. By addressing these foundational issues, the study aims to contribute to a more profound comprehension of human development and the transformational role of education in cultivating genuine wisdom. Keywords: Philosophy of Education, Knowledge, Wisdom, Ontology, Epistemology, Existential Development, Pedagogical Approaches.
