ABSTRACT Our study examines the relationship between the rapidly developing artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual and mixed reality, which have become cornerstones of society, and their contribution to student education. Social order and structure are among the most crucial factors for humanity and its quality of life. New interpretations and scientific data are being presented daily on these interconnected concepts: artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and mixed reality. Artificial intelligence developments, which have created widespread public panic, are gaining even more importance today. We investigated how mixed and virtual reality, the siblings of AI, impact AI and other related research. At this point, people's perspectives on AI, as well as their demands for the use of AI systems, products of advanced technology, have changed. The overall goal of this research is to inform students about virtual reality, mixed reality, and augmented reality technologies in education and to determine their level of use in the educational system. The aim is to investigate virtual and mixed reality applications that could emerge from the synthesis of AI, one of the most important products of advanced technology. To obtain data for this study, open-ended constructive questions were posed to elementary, middle, and high school students, interviews were conducted, and an online form was created and administered to students at all educational levels. Data was collected using structured, open-ended questions administered online. The resulting data was evaluated through interviews with experts.
