This deliverable outlines the design of the EU-DREAM platform’s Digital Twin Core Infrastructure developed in Task 2.2 (M1–M15). It introduces a centralized orchestration model to manage complex workflows and multi-agent interactions, overcoming limitations of distributed approaches. Key innovations include a stateless orchestration service for scalability and resilience, a unified data model for standardized communication, and the combined use of Kafka for event handling with cache-based transient state management. These features enable lightweight agent integration, efficient data exchange, and support for trust-enabling mechanisms such as DLT interfaces for data integrity. The document provides a detailed view of these architectural enhancements and their role in advancing digital energy services.
