
Pseudophoxinus maeandri Common name. Apamean spring minnow. Diagnosis. Distinguished from other species of Pseudophoxinus in Western Anatolia by: ○ 41–46+2–3 scales in lateral series / ○ lateral line incomplete with 19–27 perforated scales / ○ mouth terminal or slightly subterminal / ○ flank without or with indistinct, brown mid-lateral stripe. Size up to 57 mm SL. Distribution. Türkiye: Lake Işıklı basin. Habitat. Densely vegetated springs and lakes. Biology. No data. Conservation status.
