This report documents findings from a preliminary Return on Investment (ROI) study of a minimum viable dataspace proof of concept focused on the exchange of distributed OA book usage metrics. The OA Book Usage Data Trust's MVP dataspace pilot implementation, goals, and outcomes are described. Themes expressed across participant feedback are summarized. Opportunities to achieve greater ROI through further dataspace development are identified. This work was made possible through the "OAeBU Data Trust: Advancing to Launch by Developing IDS Governance Building Blocks" project grant funded by The Mellon Foundation.
